Don’t know your skin type?

Heres how to find out!

There are multiple ways to find out what type of skin type you have, I will provide examples.

Cleanse and wait test:

Cleanse- Wash your face with a preferred cleanser to remove dirt, makeup, and oils.

Pat Dry- Dry your face with a dry clean towel.

Wait- Let your skin return to its natural state. This usually takes about 30 minutes. (Don’t apply any skin care products)

Observe- Look at and feel your skin. It is better to focus on the t-zone (forehead, nose, chin, and your cheeks.)

Waiting may be time consuming so you can also do this:

Dry skin: Often feels tights, flaky

Oily skin: Looks overly shiny at most times, the t-zone is shiny

Combination skin: Looks oily in the T-zone (forehead and nose), but dry on the cheeks and jawline

Sensitive skin: Reacts to certain products or environmental changes, like appearing pink or red

Acne prone: Small red bumps, pus-filled bumps, or large, cystic bumps, redness around the bumps or inflamed areas, skin texture may be oily, shiny, bumpy, or uneven skin
